KEY TAKEAWAYS
Recently I’ve been walking places, to the gym, into the city, along the beach, up in the hills for a short hike, and there isn’t one place I’ve been where I haven’t seen man’s waste: Cans of beer, bottles of pop, wrappers of cookies, diapers, bottle tops, the list goes on and on and on.
This disturbs me because when I grew up there may have been the odd bit of litter, but litter now has become 20-, 30-, 40-fold. As much as our community services are trying to help to keep our communities clean, they are simply unable to satisfy the demand.
Awe need to bring this to the people’s attention, not demand it but inspire change. Change our habits, change the products that we buy. Ultimately, if we don’t change things then nothing is ever going to change. Is that what you want? Vote on the post for this episode.

BEST MOMENTS
‘I had a vision just yesterday; if it’s been 20-30 years since it was just a few wrappers or the occasional bottle to now being bottles and wrappers everywhere, what will be the case in 20-30 years’ time? Will we be wading through the streets?’‘Why is that where we’re heading? Because people are so accepting of the current wasteland that we have created. Who wants to live in wasteland?’‘We’re going to need a group of people stand up and let their dissatisfaction be known. If we don’t do that it’s unlikely things will change.’
ABOUT THE HOST
Gavin Scott is a born entrepreneur with a passion for start up and scale up. He has over 20 years real estate experience in investment and development.
Gavin says: Over the years I have discovered that mindset is everything. Now, that might sound obvious, but it is! You see the number of awoken minds are very few in reality. Whilst acknowledging mindset is key it is absolutely different from utilising, influencing, impacting and effecting great change, for yourself, your loved ones, friends, colleagues and the wider public.
Why?
Like most of us I have had many ups and downs. I want to share the lessons learnt and promote a better environment for all, internally and externally!
How?
Through sharing my own experiences and hosting some fabulous individuals including some big household names to discuss key topics around mindset and the success formulas I hope the listener will become inspired to create space for change for betterment in their lives. I aim to inspire change by encouragement, not by force. I intend to inspire by education, not by regulation.
