Our long wait for new Star Trek episodes is almost over with the broadcast of first of four mini-episodes called, Short Treks. Three will focus on an established Star Trek: Discovery characters, while a fourth will introduce a new character. Also, we discuss how the characters of Pike, Spock and Number One will deviate or follow the way they were in the original unaired pilot, The Cage.
