If you had asked me a few years ago about the benefit of going to a conference, I am not sure what I would have said. I was definitely in a different place, juggling three small kids. I had a workday that started at 4 a.m., I was always running around. As a result, I was always tired.



Frankly, I probably wouldn’t have thought about taking the time to actually go to one.



But things change. I own a business now, for one thing. And no more 2 a.m. alarms.



I have changed my mind about the power of live events. I see now how they foster connection, community and creativity.
