Listen "A Soft Place for Hard Conversations"
Episode Synopsis
Stacy shares that she’s a “fixer” according to the podcast, “At the Root” which she co-hosts with Greg Kiper; a realization that leads her family to start using the code word “terrorist” when she hijacks conversations. It’s a self-awareness strategy Stacy is attempting with minimal success thus far. Her guest, Sherra Gasser, a youth empowerment coach, works with kids to help them avoid needing such strategies in their adult life. Stacy and Sherra have a powerful conversation about kids needing a safe place (and person) for hard conversations, clearly a shared passion. Take a listen and some cues from Sherra.
