Listen "Winning for Christ (1 Corinthians 9:17-27)"
Episode Synopsis
"Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone to win as many as possible." (1 Corinthians 9:19)Paul is concerned to win. But he is not after the prestige of winning for himself. His concern is to win people for Christ. That is to share the good news or gospel of God’s salvation through Jesus, so that they might believe and so be forgiven for their sins, be reconciled to God and receive the gift of eternal life. When this happens, there is a sense of success for Paul and rejoicing in heaven, but the greatest reward goes to the one who has been won for Christ.
