Listen "Spotlight CT- The Broadcaster at 100 (Part 2)"
Episode Synopsis
We are proud to continue "The Broadcaster at 100" series on Spotlight CT! Each month, the last Saturday of the month will be focused on WTIC and our celebration to 100 years of broadcasting. In this second edition, Morgan looks back to the nearly 17-year period (1957-1974) when the Travelers ran not only WTIC Radio but also (the original) WTIC TV Channel 3, which is now WFSB. Former producer Jim Stewart remembers how radio helped mold the fledgling TV station. U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal also delivers remarks about what WTIC News/Talk 1080 means to him.
