Paul and Glenn are back for another action-packed episode. This week we will be discussing more in regard to the relationship of injuries and sport and how injuries to a key, big-name sportsperson has gone on to to have a negative effect on a team/country’s premiership or championship aspirations. Some of what will be discussed include:
- A Rugby League legend who excelled as a Canberra Raider and in State of Origin and for Australia and whose injury just before the 1993 finals series changed his team’s season for the worse. Now as a coach, he is famous for his post-game conference blow-ups.
- A well-known Aussie female soccer player who sustained an injury right on the eve of the Women’s World Cup last year on home soil.
