Listen "Down the rabbit hole with Georg Schulte"
Episode Synopsis
This episode is with Georg Schulte (@schorsch555), a goldsmith, jeweler and spoon carver from Münster, Germany. We spoke about Georg’s work as a Jeweler and teaching the unique method of Mokume Gane, an old Japanese method for binding precious metals, which literally translates to wood grain metal. We also talk about how he fell into the rabbit hole of wood work. Why he enjoys it so much and plans to stay there for the foreseeable future. Georg has collected many more tools then most hobbyist carvers and explains why this is the case. Once again it was a fun conversation with a fellow spoon carving enthusiast that I hope you enjoy listening to.
