After going to a full preterist conference yesterday I wanted to address some concerns I have from a Charismatic preterist. This was the first time I have been in a setting where everyone was a preterist viewpoint. Most of the folks were full preterist but there may have been some partial preterist there as well. One thing for sure is I think I was the only charismatic in the room of about 150 people. I felt very welcomed, and everyone was very friendly. I learned a lot but one of the things that shocked me was the lack of charismatics, and the mostly hardline teaching that the spiritual gifts had ceased at 70AD.
