Actually, the title could have been, One Where Brandee Rambles About Mediumship and Works Some Shit Out, Using the Podcast As a Journal. 
All joking aside, I do really get into my personal ideas on is there a "right" way to be a medium.  
I bring up Tyler Henry's Netflix show, Life After Death.  The show helped me to see mediumship differently at exactly the time I was already trying to work some stuff out.  Specifically, does doing mediumship make people tired?  And why I was grappling with that idea at all ... *hint* I was listening to others when I should have been listening to myself and learning from my own experiences.  
Of course, this wouldn't be Spirit Talk if I didn't talk about the abundance of reason's to develop your own spiritual abilities.  I share a little story of my departed dog, Rexx bringing me a message from the Spirit side as an example of how psychic/medium abilities can come through in every day life.
