Lactate threshold is regarded as one of the biggest predictors of cycling performance across many different cycling disciplines, specifically with both TT and RR, and thus, for a lot of cyclists, there is a lot of emphasis on trying to increase ones LT to better results. In this episode, I explain what LT is, how it's tested, and how it can be improved.
