In addition to the NASCAR playoffs that started Sunday in Atlanta, Hamlin gave a lot of background on the charter talks that continue to be a source of controversy in that industry. Hamlin drives for Gibbs Racing but he's co-owner of 23Xi Racing, one of two teams that hasn't signed what NASCAR says is it's last offer in the stalled charter talks with its teams.
