5 Years ago today, my grandmother went to be with the Lord. I don't have the words to explain what she meant to me and what a huge piece of my life she was. I couldn't get up to speak at her funeral because I was too scared of speaking in front of people. It was at that moment I decided that I would never again allow fear to hold me back from anything and especially to honor such an amazing human being. I know that she would be my biggest fan cheering for me every step of my journey. She was a dancer, an artist, and a poet. She left me books of poetry, and so here's one back for her. I didn't have the courage to honor her then, so I'll honor her now. I love you Bema.
