By 2027, self employed workers are estimated to make up 50 to 60 percent of the workforce. Co-working spaces are primed to capitalize on this rapidly rising clientele. Swapna Sathyan, MBA, Director of Strategy and Change Consulting at Cannon Design imparts her knowledge and insight into the gig economy and how it is affecting the workforce and workplaces. Sarah McGee, architectural designer and consultant, shares her personal experience as a user of several co-working companies from the unique eye of a designer.
