The pandemic can no longer be used as an excuse for bad service. Staffing challenges are a reality in this new world, I get it, but you cannot make excuses for an underwhelming experience at your spa or business any longer. You must learn to adapt, automate services, stagger in a way that works for making money and providing the very best service your clients expect and deserve. Let me give you an examples of an excuses I have heard recently and an on how you can kick those excuses to the curb!
The phone rings and rings to only go to voicemail. The voicemail says, due to covid it may take longer to answer your call. WHAT?! We live in a world with super intelligence. Did you know there are softwares out there that will pick up on the ringing phone and automatically text the person calling to start a conversation and lead them all the way to booking their services without you ever talking to them? I can hear you now saying "but I want to make the personal connection with my clients". I know, I get it. But if it is going to voicemail you risk loosing the client all together and no personal connection at all. Using an AI based approach you can retain more customers, exceed their expectations and once the appointment is booked have a personal text sent to the client thanking them for booking and telling them how much you are looking forward to their visit with a personal signature. The reality is nearly 85% of people are looking and booking travel experiences using a mobile device. This gives you a huge opportunity!
