Listen "Knocking Holes in the Darkness - Audio"
Episode Synopsis
As we honor Black History Month, Rev. Curtis Johnson, pastor of Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church of Greenville, SC, shares his heart regarding the Christian response to injustice. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a unifying and timeless message, bringing equality and justice. What is more, the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a lamplighter, "knocking holes in the darkness" and Rev. Johnson challenges us to do the same. May we follow the example of Dr. King, obeying the eternal mandate from our God, and bring light to the dark world around us.
