As we begin a new year, we consider what should be the focus of our life in Christ - Growing in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Peter, in his second epistle, reminds us that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness the the true knowledge of Him and then proceeds to instruct Christians to be diligent, to believe, to be strong, to be prepared, and again to be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless before Him. In this lesson we consider some ways in which we can grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus, especially as we begin a new year on this earth.
