Los Angeles based pop artist, songwriter, and producer, Alexa Jaye, brings us on a journey of self sabotage in her new single, "The Breakdown". Already known for her various songs in TV Shows like The Kardashians, Selling Sunset, and more, this is Alexa's debut as her own producer too. We discuss the early stages of building this song idea out, but how imposter syndrome partially contributed to prolonging the completion. We also learn how certain production elements were carved out and the original style references for the song.
