Carole Baggerly is the Founding Direct of GrassrootsHealth a 501c3 non-profit public health promotion organization, with the direction of ‘Moving Research into Practice’. 

For the last 5 years, when Carole and her husband became 75 and 90 years old, they realized that while all the nutrients are still necessary...the body still needs some help and, possibly the living arrangements do too.  Carole and her husband, Leo,  have been spending time both investigating and using items like grabbars in the home, have seen what it takes to get them, how helpful they are to even younger people in helping avoid falls; how an item like a scooter is not well known but is a mobility agent in long distances, how long-term-care insurance can be a major driver in choices.  In short, the 'Aging in Place' takes preparation and very few people are ready to do it.  At this point, Tools of Living has been established to provide the information, to do ongoing development of the links to reliable sources of material/consulting on the choices.
