Paul is joined again by Drumm McNaughton again, this time to talk about how to become a force for positive change in the world - a topic that a lot of us have been thinking hard about over the last year. How do you turn yourself into a ‘change-maker’?

Change in itself is simple, but people – and their belief systems – make it complicated and resist change. Icebergs are a great metaphor, you only see the output, not the processes and the structures beneath those that need to be changed. Without changing people’s ideas and thought processes you’ll never have change.
People’s value systems are changing, young people are demanding change and older people are seeing that times are, and need to, change.
Eastern religions explain the change from a lower to a higher age and some of our beliefs just don’t work anymore.
Change used to be done from the top down, what we’re seeing since Occupy Wall Street was that people became tired of the way the economy was being run and we’ve seen it with the Arab Spring, Me Too and Black Lives Matter movements. These are driven by social media.
