In today’s episode we want to think about what it must have been like for the early followers of Jesus as they eagerly waited for the promise of Jesus to be fulfilled. They were all gathered together in Jerusalem waiting for the Holy Spirit to be poured out on them. What were they doing while they were waiting? They devoted themselves to prayer. There is certainly something for us to learn from this as we wait for another promise of Jesus to be fulfilled. . . the Lord’s return in glory!
