Barry and Julia embrace erotic thriller maestro Adrian Lyne’s first film in 20 years, “Deep Water” (out on Hulu). Your hosts dive headfirst into shallow water, bump their heads on the pool ledge and tend to a glossy army of snails. It’s an odd movie, which Barry loves but Julia is less convinced of. They question whether Ben Affleck is the right pick to play a nerdy, repressed scientist/snail farmer and if one can root for any of the rotten characters in this button-pusher.
