Send us a textAs much fun as the online Squid Game of trying to snag a PS5 is, David Radd has also been getting some co-op ninja action in with Shadow of the Ninja, plays a round of Mario Golf: Super Rush, and feels a bit let down by The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.  Meanwhile, Tuesday takes out hordes of Ridden (don't call them zombies) in Back 4 Blood and also tries out some Children of Morta, surprisingly not in Rogue-like mode.  In news, Activision Blizzard is covered extensively, from small stories like Vicarious Visions losing its name, Digital Legends being bought to make Call of Duty mobile games, and Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV being delayed to 2023, to larger stories like Blizzard co-leader Jen O'Neal leaving after three months in the position and Bobby Kotick calling attention to his salary reduction (something the SOC Investment Group says in inadequate).  Meanwhile, Sony PlayStation reports a record second quarter, is still aiming to hit sales targets despite supply constraints,  forms the PlayStation PC label, and seemingly updated the PS5 so the CMOS battery failing is no longer an issue.  Ubisoft also released its quarterly report, detailing the success of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, that Assassin's Creed Infinity will not be a free-to-play game and that The Division Heartland, Rocksmith+ and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake are all being delayed.  Speaking of delays, the Cyberpunk 2077 roadmap proved false as everything was shifted to 2022.  In the SNGP topic, Tuesday recounts the odd quirks and failings of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, while David can't contain his incredulity about the game's B-plot, worthy of a  bad fan-fic.If you enjoy the podcast, visit us at Patreon.com/SNGP!
