Designed For Delight: What is life when there are no connections? Very lonely, very broken. Apps on our phones are so addictive because they give us a sense of connectedness- you can see where friends are all over the world, and you can reach out to them and get an immediate response. Yet visit people in hospitals all around any city, and people are struggling because they don’t have anyone to take their dog for a walk or family nearby who will help them recover. So many people don’t have meaningful relationships.
