Listen "Dale England: A Legacy of Love, Laughter, and Lift-Off"
Episode Synopsis
This week, we sit down with Dale England, a fourth-generation Lake Chelan Valley native whose story is deeply rooted in family, service, and the orchards of Manson, Washington.Raised on his family's apple orchard—where his mother was born—Dale stepped up alongside his siblings to run the operation after their father was injured fighting a fire. Since then, Dale has worn many hats: decorated law enforcement officer, orchard entrepreneur, helicopter pilot, and passionate community volunteer. With over 25 years in the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (including work with the Drug Task Force) and multiple “Deputy of the Year” honors, Dale brings serious credibility. He’s also the founder of Custom Orchard Fumigation and the owner of Lake Chelan Helicopters, where he blends agriculture, adventure, and awe-inspiring tours over the Cascades.Beyond his impressive résumé, Dale is beloved for his down-to-earth nature, comedic charm (just ask him about being the "Peak Child"), and unwavering devotion to his wife RaeAnne, their kids, and grandkids. Whether delivering Santa by helicopter or advocating for local agriculture and responsible growth, Dale's heart beats for this valley.💬 Tune in for a fun, heartfelt conversation filled with local history, community pride, and the kind of stories that make small towns truly unscripted.#LakeChelan #SmallTownsUnscripted #lawenforcement #MansonWA #HelicopterTours #ChelanCounty #CommunityHero #podcast
