Listen "Beating Cancer with Mistletoe Therapy"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode Leanne Gabriel will interview cancer survivor, Ivelisse Page. She's a young and vibrant wife and mother of 4. She is also a stage 4 colon cancer survivor. Her journey began long before her diagnosis. Her father died of colon cancer when he was in his late thirties. She knew that family history put her at a higher risk of developing colon cancer at a young age and was diligent about getting regular colonoscopies, eating organic and exercising. Des[pite this, she developed colon cancer more than a year before she was due for her next colonoscopy. She was just 37.
After learning that conventional chemotherapy would only increase her survival rate by 10-13%, Ivelisse sought out alternative treatments and beat the 8% survival rate of stage IV colon cancer. She has been completely cancer free since December of 2008!
Hear about Ivelisse's incredible journey and the non-profit organization she founded to help others. Believe Big foundation provides patients with hope, help and healing
