Contrary to the title, we did plan our Vacation to New Orleans. We planned it well, in advance and on a budget. Unfortunately we planned our vacation to New Orleans for August 27th - September 1st, during hurricane season... and ended up getting stuck in Hurricane Ida. Lights went out, plumbing went out and patience ran out. Listen to this episode of SisChat for a story time about riding out a hurricane, but keep in mind, we are not the victims of this hurricane.
