From now I'm doing a series where I talk about certain Instagram posts I'm making:

I was so angry for so long.

People not thinking, people following the mob, saying what was acceptable and even expected because they didn’t know any better.

I was angry about being mistreated, I was angry about being wronged. I was angry at injustice.

I was angry at people and I was angry at things. Finally, I’ve come to this point. It’s time to stop letting the sun go down on my anger.

People will always do things without thinking, Christians will often not think twice about what a social media post can mean, they won’t realize what movement they’ve affiliated themselves with...I’m done being angry.

The only way I used to be able to deal with the anger was to cut wood. Be it with the chainsaw or be it with the axe. The physical act of destroying made me feel better. It gave my frustration purpose.

And finally...I’m done. I’m done catching my tongue because I might offend you, I’m done holding back my opinions because I might get called horrible names and words. I’ve come to the point where I’ve realized this is my place. This is my space to share. My little corner of the world. And it’s time I actually start living here.
