Listen "15. Responsible"
Episode Synopsis
Let me be clear. Responsibility is not just a feeling. It includes the way we show up and take action. But before any of that, whether in our business or life, in order to feel responsible, we need to first BELIEVE that we are responsible.Since I am not qualified to use my voice to lead during the current Black Lives Matter movement, as I am a product of White Privilege and shamefully just beginning to deepen my work and do better in the fight against systemic, passive, and aggressive racism, I wanted to instead use my platform to elevate others I trust. Here is a list of podcasts I previously have or am now currently listening to:Caught (on Mass Incarceration)There Goes the Neighborhood (On Gentrification)Come Through -Host Rebecca Carrol (on why race as the center of most American Issues)Seeing White (on white supremacy)Code Switch - NPR (on race and culture)Rants & Randomness - Host Luvvie Ajayi (Especially episode - Becoming the Right Thing w/ Glennon Doyle.
