Episode Synopsis
Bob is a graduate of Dartmouth college and studied in France for a year. He was commissioned as an Air Force Officer and served as a pilot in Vietnam and reached the rank of Captain. When he got out of the military, he rode his bicycle across the country in 31 days with a friend and was featured in the news. Bob started his own homebuilding business and owned it for 28 years, and served as President of his regional Homebuilders Association. He was President of the local Kiwanis club and enjoyed his involvement in efforts to strengthen his community. An avid outdoorsman, Bob and his son recently completed hiking all of the 48 mountain peaks over 4,000 feet in New Hampshire, an effort that spanned 22 years. They are now striving to hike all of the 66 peaks over 4,000 feet in New England. Bob has loved to compete in long distance runs, including marathons. He still runs three times a week to maintain his fitness. Bob is a nationally certified soccer coach and has coached for nearly 35 years, including high school varsity. He is passionate about helping players grow physically and mentally to reach their full potential and deepen their love of the sport.
