When it matters, what would you be willing to give up? What would you not be ready to give up? What is most valuable to you?
God wants to bless us and to enjoy life, but at times we might be requested to give up a few matters, for example if those things became too important in our lives. How do you react?
We can learn from Abraham, who – despite his human shortcomings – put his trust into the almighty Lord, even in extreme situations.
Praise the Lord, if we are spared such extreme situations. But whether we go through easy or through difficult phases of life, let’s put the holy eternal God to be number 1 in life above everything else.
