Listen "Ep.116 Where Do We Begin?"
Episode Synopsis
"Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on." --Louis L'Mour
In this episode, Judy and I discuss the exciting task of beginning writing or starting a new journal. We both, however, have a collection of journals and notebooks that we've used to keep our thoughts or record progress toward a goal. Some of them are finished and have no blank pages left. Others will never ever be complete.
We talk about what to do when you start a new journal and we get into the problem of unfinished notebooks and the decision to let blank pages stay blank.
Then we wrap up our discussion with a brainstorming session on "touchstones" that we plan to use when beginning a new journal.
