Coach Amsberry had a very unique story with multiple "rise to the top" moments. He joined a struggling Rockford College program that lost 70 straight games and turned them into a consistent above .500 team. Then did the same with an average team at Wartburg College and created a perennial power house. All from a guy who had really never thought about coaching!
