Listen "Episode 22 - Tamika Tulloch"
Episode Synopsis
Tamika Tulloch is a Millennial Mother to a three-year old son and has recently started her apprenticeship as a Labourer with LiUNA. Before construction she was an educational assistant for ten years where she spent her days molding the young minds of the future but her teams were understaffed, underpaid, and overworked and she always had this feeling that she needed to do something more to make her life more fulfilling. Her passion for her new found career and inspiration to others has already earner her the title of YWCA's Honorary Woman of Distinction for 2023. In this episode we talk about importance of supportive teachers, family influence and the diverse opportunities of careers in construction.
