Episode 86 – Using the batch system to create social media content for a whole quarter in 5 hours!We chatted with Rob Osborne about his amazing system for compiling and creating all of your social media content (or marketing) in a super-efficient, effective way.Freeing you up to spend the time on running your business, delivering your service, or doing anything that you'd rather be doing.And this way of working doesn't just apply to social media. You can use the 'batching' process to deal with any repetitive task that you do multiple times a month.Here's what we covered...The system has five steps, each of which you can complete in an hour:Hour 1Identify 5 topicsThese will be the areas your content will be aboutThey should relate to your business or your area of knowledgeHour 2Identify 13 bullet points per topicYou can use A.I. to help13 ideas/quotes/thoughts or solutionsHour 3Choose 65 pictures/imagesYou can use places such as Pexels or Pixabay(check for copyright requirements)Hour 4Create a template in Canva or your imaging software of choiceHour 5Set up the scheduleSchedulingYou have now got 65 posts, one for each weekday for 13 weeksYou can schedule them all in one go, or do it weeklyPower MoveCreate a folder for each topicWithin that folder create two further folders:"To post" - This folder contains all the posts ready to go out"Posted" - You move them into here once you've posted themThat way you know which ones need to go out, and when it's time to start creating some new onesWe'd love to hear about how you have implemented this, or if you've used the same system to help you in another area of your business, or life!Obviously, it's your responsibility to comply with copyright and trade mark legislation.
