https://youtu.be/XKfJ-5Rvh1sSharon Hinckley beloved Watercolor Painter and Yoga Instructor joins me On the EdgeSharon Hinckley [email protected] 858-775-1083 Originally from the Washington, DC area, Sharon attended The Sidwell Friends School (aQuaker School) from grades 1 - 12followed by 4 years at Stanford University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. Since graduating from college,Sharon has visited all 50 States and traveled the world including living in Asia for 5 1/2 years. She has pursued her Love of Watercolor Painting. Her book Watercolor Basics: Painting Flowers was published in 1999. She has also become a Yoga Teacher, (the Japanese word for Western Painting is “Yoga”) and a Full-Body Reflexologist. During the Great Recession, she took up photography. The photographs in this exhibit are selected from thousands of photographs that she shot during her 6 trips to India and one trip to Nepal. She visited Nepal in 2014 before the Great Earthquake. Many of these images are now Historical Memories. Also, featured in this collection are images from Kumbh Mela, 2013, the largest Spiritual Festival on the planet. The year that she went, there were 80,000,000 people in attendance. Sharon will give a talk on Sunday, August 17 at 11:30AM about her Asia Adventures, the Yugas (cycles of time) and her Yoga Studies.
