Key Points:
- Believers waiver between three Spiritual temperatures: on fire for God, cold towards God, and lukewarm.
- A lukewarm Christian is comfortable, complacent and unconscious of their need for Jesus Christ.
- If one is on fire for God it is noticed and felt. Thoughts are fixed on him, every action brings Him glory, there is a real hunger for God, and a strong desire to spread the good news of salvation in Him.
- If one is cold toward God it is noticed and felt. You realize you think more about worldly things than spiritual things. You see your lack of faith in God and in spiritual realities.
- Being lukewarm is a little trickier. I believe a Christian can live in a state of lukewarm and be tragically unaware.
