We invite any and all to join us on Sunday, October 5, for a special day devoted to the care of our Earth. At 8 and 10 am, we’ll offer services of Holy Eucharist with special guest preacher The Rev. Deacon Dawn Tesorero, co-founder of the Creation Care Justice Network. Healing Prayer will be offered after each service in the Side Chapel. At 11 am, our Social Justice Commission hosts both coffee hour and a forum at which members will outline their past and future climate activism goals. At 2 pm, we’ll hold a short Blessing of the Animals service, so bring your pets - live, photographed, and/or stuffied! - to be blessed by Garrett. He’ll follow up the service with drive-by blessings outside the church entrance from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
