Sin, satan and decay that came after the Fall, are underlying causes to much of the pain, suffering and evil we see in the world today. When answering the "WHY?" to what we see around us we need to take these three factors into consideration and not "point our finger" at God. "WHAT?" should our response be, when we see the effects of sin, satan and decay? Jesus expressed that we must step in to display the works of God. The works of God undo the effects of sin, satan and decay (death). The works of God are the healings, the deliverances, the miracles of God. "HOW?" do the works of God take place? It is the result of the anointing - the presence and power of the Holy Spirit released through us. The works of God lead us into an encounter with the God who works, Jesus Christ. Ultimately, we must meet the One "WHO?" works, Jesus Christ the Son of God. We draw these insights from the healing of the blind man in John 9. Expect the work of God - the miracles, healings, deliverance, salvation - to take place where you are.
