Interweaving stories from their own lives, Jami and Amy give a helpful framework for how to understand the absolute weirdness of the Old Testament. We don't have to deny that the stories we read in our Old Testament are hard to understand. What we can do is learn how to read the Old Testament the way it was meant to be read.
