DebateLAH is a project aimed at revitalizing the debating culture, bringing its benefits to secondary schools across Malaysia. DebateLAH aims to introduce debate to schools in hopes students can reap its multiple benefits. This project focuses on the Asian Parliamentary format (as used in public school debates) as a basic tool to introduce the art of persuasion. We also provide support for current school debaters with motion analysis & discussions about key principles in style & content. DebateLAH give back with the making of a Guidebook at “Starting Debate in Secondary School” - involving researcher & editors, external proofreaders.Sembang Sessions: Because we aren’t experts ourselves; we discuss the multiple facets of high school debate best practices & journeys beyond that with student debaters and debate coaches in Malaysia.
