Dr. Gillian Russell is Professor of Philosophy at the Australian National University, as well as a visiting Professorial Fellow at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. She works mostly in the philosophy of language and logic, and is the author of Barriers to Entailment: Hume’s Law and other Limits on Logical Consequence and Truth in Virtue of Meaning: a defence of the analytic/synthetic distinction.
