Sit right back again, or stand, if that's your preference, and hear a tale of how two intellectual properties joyfully collide in the third TV movie installment of Gilligan's Island, The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island. This time, the castaways delve deep into Fantasy Island territory, inviting to their tropical nest the basketball kings of mirth along with Martin Landau and Barbara Bain. Trading in his moon base for a luxury yacht, Captain Landau hatches a scheme of attempted murder and drunken intrigue to get his hands on the property rights to the island and a magical uber element he dubs "supremium." It all culminates in a proto Space Jam face off, pitting the loveable Globetrotters against a team of invincible robots dressed in knee-high tube socks. Who will win this mammoth struggle, so typical of the decade from whence it came? Becky and Jake are joined this time around by special guest Gregg Paschall from the Radio Ronin network.
