Children's musical theater and tv stars assemble one last time for Lewis Carroll's nearly never adapted journey of Alice going through the looking-glass. Pursued by a monster bred of her fears, Alice gets temporarily distracted from going home by taking on a pawn's quest, advancing to queenhood by reaching the vaunted eighth square. But Looking-Glass Land is governed by a different reality: everything's as backwards there as Bizarro World. So, endings are beginnings and cakes are cut and served in reverse.
