Episode Synopsis

Bob Peterson has been a director at Butler Community College for many years. Acting and the creative arts have been a part of his life for a long time. Mr. Peterson earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Theatre from Emporia State University, where he studied under Dr. Karl C. Bruder, a nationally renowned theatre professor.Mr. Peterson is a published playwright as well as an award-winning director. Authoring Heaven Ajar, historical fiction about the Coolidge presidency. Mr. Peterson starred in Miramax's The Crude Oasis, which received "thumbs up" reviews from the New York Times and Variety. He was also seen in the films Casualties, starring Mark Harmon, and The Good Things, which won Best Short Film at the Deauville Film Festival.  In our conversation, We'll discuss Mr. Peterson's life and career in the performing arts, as well as what he's learned from his experiences.Support the show
