Right after I recorded this episode, I opened my Instagram and saw a negative comment underneath my post about serpents. The kind that would trigger me a lot, even a year ago.

This time was the first time I didn’t feel any trigger. And not only that, I was able to send a kind message as a response to this comment.

I am no longer making myself wrong for the things I believe in and stand for. Because I know that the long term pain of hiding is wayyyy more painful than being out in the open with the risk of being hurt momentarily.
