I am a seasoned hospitality professional, who in 2011 had a disabling accident that left me in a wheelchair. Which gave me the impetuous to submerge myself into the world of podcasts. I have a passion for food and sourcing quality fresh produce and information from a number of Melbourne’s wide spread & excellent produce markets. So I felt sure I had the topic & source of info for a podcast focused on Seasonal Fruit , vegetable & fish & a goal to keep a diverse & changing list. So Seasonal Bounty was born, first as a written weekly report passed to family & friends on FaceBook. But with an extended run of excellent synchronicity or meaningful coincidences as I choose to view it as. I summoned the technical skills, equipment, faucilities and personal assistance. So come 2020 I was ready to launch. Now the story of Melbourne’s Covid lockdown has already painted 2020 as a year to forget. But for Seasonal Bounty, we launched as lockdown began & since then (late February we have made & broadcast no less than 83 9 to 11 minute episodes. With a new one added every mid-Saturday?afternoon afternoon.
