Listen "#50 What To Do When Your Faith is Attacked (Isaiah 34-39)"
Episode Synopsis
During today's conversation on Scripture & Story, we are continuing in our series on the book of Isaiah! Today we cover Isaiah 34-39, which is week 7 in your study called A Holy God. This is our last week in this study! And there is a bit of a surprise in the last few chapters of the first part of Isaiah. After 35 chapters of poetry, we stumble across historical narrative. Isaiah tells the story of King Hezekiah during the time when the Assyrians were coming against Jerusalem. Hezekiah’s story of his enemy seeking to destroy the city has much to teach us about the strategies of our enemy as he seeks to destroy us. When your faith is being attacked, you can follow the example of Hezekiah in running to your God and standing firm on His promises. So grab a cup of coffee, your Bible, and your Isaiah Bible Study, and join me on the pages of God’s Word.
