We can neither imagine nor bring about a perfect world – a utopia. Instead, it’s much easier to envision and bring about the opposite. Isaiah’s wondrous and concluding promise is a vision of new creation that the Lord himself will bring about. It’s a place where emotions, life, order, work, religion, and peace are all new.
