Botox injections use a toxin called botulinum toxin to stop the release of acetylcholine and prevent muscles from contracting. Botox injections are commonly used to smooth wrinkles on the face but can also help treat neck spasms, overactive bladder, lazy eye, and other health conditions.During my interview with Inna Topiler about the causes of thyroid autoimmunity, she mentioned Botox injections as an uncommon cause.
